Australia’s first ever online community giving day has resulted in an enormous $83,183 raised for between 73 individual not-for-profit local community-based campaigns. On top of the total raised, an additional $31,000 in cash and prizes was awarded on the 1st of September, which meant that the total impact on the community was $114, 183. 

Key data that further highlights the impact of Big Give;

  • Total number of individual donors for the community campaigns 1,870 
  • Through social media, collectively, campaigns were shared 7,171 times.
  • Social media reached over 60,000

The Community Foundation for Central Victoria is incredibly overwhelmed with the generosity the local community displayed. Big Give will be back in 2017, and the whole Foundation is very much so looking forward to building on this year’s fantastic outcome.
